Rockclean — Privacy Policy

Hello Rock Studios Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), a company organized in the United Kingdom, develops the iOS application Rockclean (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data is (and is not) processed when you use the App, how that data is used, and your rights.


Summary

  • We do not collect personal data from your device contents. The App analyzes your local photo library and contacts on‑device; these contents do not leave your device.
  • We do not create accounts and do not run our own analytics or advertising.
  • The only third party involved in data processing is Adapty, which provides in‑app purchase and subscription infrastructure. Aside from purchase/subscription data handled by Adapty, we do not collect data and do not share data with third parties.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store the following from Rockclean:

  • Your photos, videos, thumbnails, or metadata from your photo library
  • Your contacts or address book details
  • Your device files, precise location, health data, or messages
  • Behavioral analytics, app usage analytics, or advertising identifiers for our own purposes

All duplicate detection runs on your device. Deletions you confirm occur locally in the Photos and Contacts apps.

Data Processed for Purchases (via Adapty)

Rockclean uses Adapty solely to enable and manage in‑app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., verifying receipts, restoring purchases, and determining premium status). In this context, the following data may be processed by Adapty, depending on your device settings and our integration:

  • Purchase and subscription information: product identifiers you buy, transaction receipts/tokens, subscription status (active, expired, trial), price, currency, refund events.
  • Identifiers: an app‑scoped User ID (e.g., customerUserId) and/or device identifiers (which may include Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) if available under your system privacy settings).
  • Device and app metadata: app version, platform, and other technical data necessary to provide purchase features and prevent fraud.
  • Network information: IP address may be processed by Adapty’s infrastructure unless IP collection is disabled in the SDK configuration.

Adapty acts as our processor for this purchase/subscription data. Adapty may verify receipts with Apple and provide dashboards and webhooks to us about subscription status so the App can unlock premium features correctly.

Apart from this purchases/subscriptions infrastructure, we do not send any other data to Adapty and do not share data with any other third parties.

  • Performance of a contract to provide the purchase features you request (e.g., purchasing, restoring, validating access).
  • Legitimate interests for fraud prevention and service security, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent where required by platform rules (e.g., access to IDFA via App Tracking Transparency).

Data Retention

  • We do not retain any of your photos, videos, or contacts.
  • Purchase/subscription records are retained by Adapty for as long as necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations (e.g., accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We do not control Adapty’s retention schedules.

Children’s Privacy

Rockclean is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided purchase information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Data Sharing

  • With third parties: We do not share data with any third parties other than Adapty as described above.
  • With authorities: We may disclose information if required by applicable law or valid legal process.

International Transfers

As a UK company using third‑party infrastructure, your purchase/subscription data processed by Adapty may be stored or processed outside your country (including outside the UK/EEA). Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are used by Adapty to protect such transfers.

Security

We design Rockclean so that sensitive content (photos, videos, contacts) stays on your device. Adapty maintains technical and organizational measures appropriate for processing purchase/subscription data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of data that concerns you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent

For data processed by Adapty on our behalf (purchases/subscriptions), please contact us first so we can coordinate your request with Adapty where applicable.

To exercise your rights, contact: rock@hellorockapps.com. You can also manage platform‑level privacy controls via iOS settings, including App Tracking Transparency and purchase history.

App Store Disclosures

On Apple’s App Store privacy labels, Rockclean indicates data types related only to in‑app purchases/subscriptions (e.g., Purchases; Identifiers such as User ID/Device ID where applicable to Adapty’s SDK). Rockclean does not collect other data types.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App or on our website (if available), with the “Effective date” updated. Material changes will take effect prospectively.
